Oh my god.
Kristen Jones is freakin awesome. We sat down yesterday to go through the 2 songs in which she will be playing Cello on, and let me tell you, my mind was blown. She is sooo good, and the way she plays her instrument TOTALLY complements what I am doing, so far the two Cello songs are so cool, because "Cookies On Monday" will now have guitar, violin, & cello. "Beautiful Mercy" will have guitar, cello, & hopefully some very light trumpet. Oh man. Honestly, I'm thinking of doing a concept album, and the more exotic it is the better..so keep an ear out for something completely un-conventional from me in the near future, God Willing.
eeeeek!! I'm so freakin excited about this.
I'm waiting for Paul Mercer to confirm my next studio session date, because that will mark the date for the Cello tracks, and it shall be glorious =)
