I have so many things running through my head right now, its crazy. Aside from working on the album, I'm now obsessed with Playing For Change. They have this awesome video from Turkey on their FaceBook page that's sparking my idea. What PFC does is simply genius, they take one song, and they record people from all around the world singing it, then they edit it (both video & audio) so that its like everyone is singing the same song. Its quite brilliant =).
Yesterday I saw a video inspired by PFC, but it was focused on one country, Turkey. So they had musicians from all over Turkey perform this one song, and it was awesome.
Now I want to do one for our region. I want to either do it for Maryland, or the DC Metro Area, because we have a vast number of artiest and genres, I think it would be GREAT!...The reason why I lean towards focusing on "Baltimore", is because of the all the different genres we have, we have a plethora of original artiest in MANY formats, and I really do want to put us on the map. Rolling Stones called us #1 for our original music scene, lets show people why.
