I was just contacted by Eric Willson from Umbrella Radio, its a Baltimore local internet radio station. U.R. is going to be beta testing a new section on their website. They have been developing a system to allow listers to buy music from the U.R. website, that way when your listening to Umbrella Radio, and you like what you hear, you can simply buy the music with a couple of clicks.
Eric has asked me to be one of the artist to get "tested" on =). What this means is, once the system is functional and ready for testing, I will be one of the artist people can buy. So in the near future I will be sending out information to have you all test it out by going to the site and buying a couple of tunes =)
I like this for many levels, its good exposure for both Umbrella Radio, and I. Also some of money will go towards supporting U.R., hopefully enough money to be profitable, but at the moment U.R. is hoping it would at least pay for the internet bill to keep the station up. U.R. is free to listen to, and they rely on donations to keep it up and running, so if having my music sold there helps, then by all means go for it.
