I was hanging at the Austin Grill open mic, which was guest hosted by sahffi, and local Nigerian rockstar Nelson Emokape of Nelly's Echo came by and graced us with his music, then he asked me to play a show with him at Teavolve on April 24th (the week right before my Album Release Party) sahffi (vox) & James (drums) will be joining me =). There has been hints on both parts of a future Nelson/Mosno colab at some point, which I think will be exquisite. We both have an original sound, and we both come from the same mother Africa, I can't wait for The Brotherhood colab to happen, it will be epic.

Yesterday I was supporting my good friend Acacia Sears' open mic at Teavolve (every Monday night), and Ellen Cherry came over. I got to finally meet her, this past year I've just been running into people calling her name in my face. She's super cool, and down to earth. We had both promised to listen to each other's albums and critique it for each other, I can't wait.

Also yesterday Baltimore's cool kat Paulo Gregory of 2nd n8ture asked if I could Djembe for him at Vince Beach in California for 4 days, at the end of this month. I'm going to do my best to make it, wish me luck.

So there you have it. Its been an enjoyable and busy few days back from Miami. I hope everyone is staying nice and cool in this beautiful weather we're having :)
