Happy New Year,
Since this is my first post of 2012, I shall REALLY make it count :D.
Here is what's happened.
December 31st 2011 .. I got to open up for Carbon Leaf with my super band of friends! (Sahffi + Rob, Heather, & Kristen of ilyAIMY). We had a great time, got to meet the guys briefly, very nice gentlemen :)
I start this year by debuting "Lost The Sun" which is one of the songs in my upcoming album "Novella", & I do this with the accompaniment of Robin Fay Massie (on Violin) & Sahffi (on Harmony Vocals) at the Musicians of Mercy event. Here is a link to the event.
The week after that, Sahffi & I go to PA as goatFISH, for a TV interview & performance for Steel Stacks Live.
Then at the end of the month, I get to audition for The Residency Program at The Mansion at Strathmore, with the accompaniment of Sahffi (harmony vocals) & Kristen (on Cello).
Of course needless to say, that during all of this, I should be finishing up the recording process for the song, which goes to the "Faisal Goes West" short-film soundtrack.
I have my work cut out for me, but I can't WAIT to get started! :D
