Bad News
I was not accepted into the artist in residency program at The Strathmore. I must say, I am a bit disheartened because I was really looking forward to adding that experience to my musical resume, but oh well, hopefully I will now be on their radar for future events.
Good News
There is talk to make a Music Video for my "No Kingdom (Faisal Goes West)" song, this is by the request from the film's director. So I started an email conversation with my talented Sudanese media peeps, and hopefully we'll get the ball rolling on that some time soon.
Also later this week I look forward to a writing session with t3N, a recording session for goatFISH, & a Mosno recording session for the "Novella" album.
I also have to keep in mind the great support I have, & let that be my strength to move forward with my music.
