Another word for balance, it seems that we are in constant search of equilibrium, which is why we have more than one word for it. It seems that equal and balance are siblings. Equality is for the outside, and balance is for the inside. Which is needed on both sides. Makes me wander if balance and inner peace are the same thing, they are at least distant cousins I’m sure. There is also a greedy equality called “Same as”, we sometimes don’t get the “same as” someone, and that throws off our balance, and then our inner peace is lost for a period of time. It also seems that some of us were conditioned to either feel superior or inferior to others. It is not equal to allow one person a freedom that is taken from another. The unbalanced wars inside of us, cause the inequality battles outside of us. But no matter how much we try, there is always someone who suffers of inequality, maybe we should eliminate that word, that thought, that conditioning, and find a different view. Balance only works on an internal personal level, and there are some who believe it is emotion that causes this feeling to inequality, that by eliminating emotion, you eliminate the “unfairness’, and everyone becomes the same. Maybe we should consider it, at least until we learn to balance our emotions, instead of our emotions balancing us.
