4 Things from Awesome-Week

The past few days have been quite awesome, and next few days will be even more so, due to recording sessions, some cool gigs, & a new thing I will try, which will be explained below, here are my "3 Things from Awesome-Week".

4 Things from Awesome-Week.

#1: Mosno En Espanol
This past week I had received the audio files from Angelica in Mexico, who translated and sang in Espanol, my original tune "A Christmas Wish" for the upcoming ELGATO Film Productions sketch. The song sounds AWESOME in Spanish, in fact, I think I actually like it better in Spanish than in English :D.
Due to time restraint, I will not be able to learn & sing it with her in Spanish. I was really looking forward to trying it, but I think it sounds better with just the Native speaker singing it, & I can't wait to share it with you all, when the Christmas time comes.

#2: The Workshop
I had the honor of being an instructor next to Sahffi Lynne, Jen & Scott Smith of Naked Blue at a Collaborative Songwriting Workshop we did. We've had artists of all levels, some experienced, some novice, and by the end of the night, drafts of new songs were made. Now they all want to continue together to finish the songs, and hopefully start writing more songs.
There have even been requests to do that workshop again, so hopefully the BSA & Music 4 More would like to sponsor this even again in the near future.

#3: December Stream of Consciousness
One thing I want to do, is write more, to really flex that Muse Muscle. At the workshop we did something called a "Stream of consciousness", in which we gave the artist a word/phrase and told them to write a full page of what comes to mind, just write & let it flow out of you.
I actually participated & really enjoyed the process, so I've decided that in December I shall do this. Everyday, I will MAKE time to sit down & write a full page of "Consciousness Streamed", which I'm sure will be a great exercise for my mind.
Now all I need are 31 words or phrases to do this. Any suggestions?

#4: The Nubian Story
As some of you might have heard the NPR story "Singing the Song of the Nubian Diaspora" about my Nubian ancestors, I was featured on it and a soundbite of my song "Land & Sea" was used in the story. I just feel so humbled & honored to have been a part of it :).
