I have some exciting news! :)
The past few days I've been posting 'the making of', & the '1st draft' of a new song called "Land & Sea". But I haven't actually told you the significants of that song :D.
Well, its a new year, there for I have decided to work on a new musical project.
I personally think its a step up for me, here is what's going on :)
When I wrote the song "Land & Sea", I used 2 characters to tell the story, Desert Boy & Ocean Girl. I played the song live in several occasions & the response has been great, so it sparked an idea. I had always wanted to write a concept album, but I never really knew how to approach it. Something about these characters just spoke to me, so I decided to use them for the concept album.
So I contacted a friend of mine who writes fantasy novels, & she loved the idea. So now she is developing a story for my two characters, & as her story progresses, I shall start writing more songs relating to the story, there by creating the album. The Fairy Tale will also be provided in some way or form :)

It completely eludes me WHY NO ONE has commented on this??? Sweet Georgia Brown, man!!! And this is a "1st draft"??? Have you thought of sending this out somehow to radio stations for some airplay? Not internet stuff, but *real* ones?? Just to see what happens?

DeleteThe song sounds different-iesh, since it has become an acoustic kind of deal, but yes, this was the 1st draft of the song that my brother & I put over that weekend.
As for radio play, its not that easy, if you know of someone who is willing to take a chance on an indie artist! that I would be more than happy to give them my material! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the tune, I honestly think listeners such as yourself are just as important as radio! so thanks of playing me on YOUR station! :D
