I am still on a natural high from this past weekend, it has been such an amazing musical adventure!
I got the honor to play Artscape TWICE, once as goatFISH on Friday as part of Musicians of Mercy , and then again on Saturday with the Greek-Nubian Collective. The response has been beautiful, and empowering. I've learned two things from Saturday's performance:
#1- I think we might need to record those traditional tunes, because so many people are asking where they can buy them.#2- I need to find a way to learn the Nubian language! I've been getting requests about the lyrics, both in Nubian and an English translation! ..I'm overwhelmed & so over joyed with this response.

Sunday I played a private event in VA, made some new friends, got accompanied by one of the audience members on a 3 stringed Russian instrument, was asked to autograph my post card for a couple of young musical residence! and was even cheered for by a 1-year old. A good was had by all ages :)
Future Music
Tuesday night will mark what I believe to be the FINAL mixing session, the album is finally coming together, and I've been able to now test it out from beginning to end, including the narrations, to make sure that things are flowing smoothly, and they seem to be doing just that :)
Now that Novella's production is slowly coming to a close, I've started slowly turning my head into a few musical project that I've had on the burner for a while and some that have come up due to Novella.
-I'm proud to announce that I will be producing a small EP for International artist & Baltimore Legend Mr. Marc Evans (VOR Music/Tarvo Music Productions).
-I will also have the honor of producing an audio version of K. Koan's book of poetry "EarthSalt".
-Not to mention a goatFISH mini-album of original goatFISH songs!
I think I need to be sponsored by 6 Hour Energy! because I don't think 5 Hours will be enough :)
