Exciting News for my 3rd Year of Full Time Musicness

Today marks my 3rd Year of being a full time musician! WOHO, and to celebrate I'm sharing this awesome news! as well as hitting my local Teavolve open mic, the local spot that has helped me start it all in Baltimore :).

I will be a guest on BBC Arabic radio, I'm SO excited, it'll be an hour long show & I will get to chat as well as play a couple of tunes live on air, make sure to tune in.

A Sudan Post

This past weekend I heard the terrible news that my brother in Peace Emmanuel Jal, known for his peace activism, and album "War Child", was beaten by police in South Sudan as he was preparing for a Peace Concert! My thoughts and prayers go out to him, and this is only one more reason to try and help us oust the corrupt governments of the world. It is sad when a Native Son comes home to promote peace through music, and is treated in such a manner.

I was interviewed for Voice of America's Upfront Africa show by my good friend Jackson Mvunganyi, and got a chance to do an acoustic performance of "System Down", and promote the SystemDown.net website.
Accompanying me is my musical partner in crime Sahffi Lynne on djembe.
